Class Network Health Check Reports
As Often As you want!
If you have ever commissioned a LAN Health Check Report
you will doubtless appreciate the value of the information that such reports contain and
the usefulness of that information in support of refining and redesigning networks.
Until now, the only realistic methods of obtaining such a
report were to either invest huge sums of money in expensive network monitoring and
analysis equipment, or to recruit the services of expensive external consultants who are
equipped with the tools for the job. Consequently, few organisations could afford to
conduct such network audits more than once a year at best, or, as in most cases, only when
network overload had reached an intolerable level.
LANTREK Reporter completely changes the situation by
making it possible for anyone to produce Network Health Check Reports without a
requirement for specialist skills or equipment. LANTREK Reporter runs on standard PCs,
uses ordinary Network Interface Cards and runs under Windows 95/98 and NT.
It is extremely easy to install and a single screen user
interface makes it childs play to run. You simply decide on the time period over
which you want data to be gathered for the report and LANTREKReporter does the rest.
Once all the data has been collected, LANTREKReporter
takes you through a series of easy to follow steps that export your data to Microsoft
Excel in order to generate graphs, which are then in turn exported to a Microsoft Word
template. And there you have it, a comprehensive consultants quality Network Health
Check Report, as often as you want for less than ½ the cost of a days consultancy!

Recommended Machine Specification:
LANTREK Reporter runs on industry standard PCs. For
Windows 95/98 we recommend a Pentium 200MHz or above with 32M RAM. For NT a Pentium 200MHz
or above with 64M RAM. LANTREK Reporter will run with most Network Interface Cards
supporting the NDIS driver specification. For 10/100M Ethernet we recommend 3Com adapters,
for Token Ring Madge 4/16 Smart Ring Node adapters. Token Ring adapters must be capable of
running in a promiscuous mode.
