LAN Map The Traffic Monitor automatically detects all the Nodes on your
network, laying them out on a regular grid, in the order they were detected, producing a
network Map automatically. However, you may use the map to document your LAN in more
detail. You may edit the details, replacing the MAC addresses with meaningful names,
grouping devices, adding your own bitmap images, and so on. In addition you may move Nodes
around on the LAN Map to reflect the geography of your network, using OLE links.

OLE linking Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) allows you to include images
produced in a separate Windows Application in your Traffic Monitor. For example, you might
want to draw a floor plan and arrange your Nodes to reflect your office layout. OLE is
fully supported in all the CNA Traffic Monitors.
The Traffic Monitor shows the status of Conversations in real-time.

LAN Explorer
Do you need to find the busiest Server,
Node, Protocol, Type or Group? Are there any duplicate IP addresses on the LAN? Do you
want to look at lists of devices on the LAN? Do you need to trace a device on the LAN and
capture its packets?
LAN Explorer does all this and more. Select a Node,
Protocol, Group, or Type, open it, and drill deeper into the data on the LAN. Select a
menu entry, click to open it, click again to see the details. Click the right mouse button
to trace the device and analyse its packets.
Its as easy as that to find out whats
really happening on your LAN.
